¡Ay Dios Mío! Why is it that the machines decide to act up on a Monday?
You know how it isamigas. Monday is my "hustle" day. I woke up with my cafecito in hand, ready to tackle the chores and get the house in order before the homeschool escándalo began. I had my plan, my list, and my motivation. But apparently, my Roomba had other plans.
As I headed upstairs to start the rooms, my "little helper" decided to go on strike. It just wouldn't respond. I did the usual routine—the "Mami Restart." I turned it off, turned it on, and tried to reconnect the Wi-Fi. I was practically pleading with it, "Por favor, no hoy!!"
But then came the dreaded error code. The worst one of all.
La problemlema? This machine needs a new battery, and of course, I don’t have one just sitting in the pantry. So now, I have to wait until next week for the replacement.
Just my luck! My floors are going to have to wait, and if you're like me, you know how much it hurts a Mama Bear's soul to leave a task unfinished. I like my limpieza done on time, but I guess this week, the dust bunnies are winning.
Note to self: Next time, I’m sticking to la escoba . At least the broom doesn't need a battery to do the job!
